Amazing Tigers
The Striped Kings of the Jungle
Tigers are one of the most amazing animals on our planet. With their bright orange fur and bold black stripes, they look powerful, mysterious, and beautiful. Kids everywhere love learning about tigers—and there’s so much to discover!
What Makes Tigers Special?
Tigers are the biggest wild cats in the world! They are even larger than lions. Their long bodies, strong legs, and sharp claws make them excellent hunters. Every tiger has a unique pattern of stripes, just like humans have unique fingerprints. No two tigers look exactly the same!
What Do Tigers Eat?
Tigers are carnivores, which means they eat meat. They hunt animals like deer, wild pigs, and sometimes even fish. They like to hunt alone and are very patient. A tiger can eat up to 40 kilograms of meat in one meal—that’s a LOT of food!
Baby Tigers: Cute and Tiny
Baby tigers are called cubs. When they are born, they cannot see anything because their eyes are closed! They stay close to their mother, who protects and teaches them how to survive. As they grow up, cubs learn how to stalk, run, and hunt.
Tigers Love Water!
Most cats hate getting wet, but not tigers! They are excellent swimmers and enjoy cooling off in lakes and rivers. Sometimes they even chase their food through water.

Sadly, tiger numbers are going down. Their homes are being destroyed, and some people hunt them. But many organizations are working hard to protect tigers. We can help by learning about them and spreading the message: Save the Tigers!
